And so it concludes. Thanks to the same technology that made, er, Free As A Bird possible,we have managed to reconstruct the lost recording of Tripod's brilliant version of Ashes To Ashes that capped off RadioLive 3.0. Thanks to the guys and to all of you.

More podcasts - from the actual radio show, no less - soon.

As the more observant among you will have noticed, there haven't been any podcasts for quite some time. April, in fact. This situation can be blamed on technical difficulties in acquiring the necessary recordings, so that's what I'm going with. Nevertheless, we are sorry.

The good* news is that we are now in a position to move forward, or at least shake violently on the spot. Expect a new wave of pinchcasting over the next few days.

Thankyou for your unwavering support.

Ok kids, finally we're putting up the podcasts of last week's extravaganza at Trades Hall. I've decided to do this as God intended - i.e. rather than one or two huge chunks you'll get a little piece each day over the coming weeks. This first part is just some of our awkward introduction so I'll publish Sam Simmons' song as well so you don't feel completely gibbed. And remember, if you subcribe to the feed through itunes or something then you don't have to keep checking back - it'll all happen automaticalike.

SPECIAL GUEST: MATHEW KENNEALLY

In this week's electrifying podcast... Chris's Earthcore plans are disrupted by a federal election. In Rainbows is officially the best thing, ever. Declan finally loses his patience over Chris's stupidest poll yet. Charlie Sheen and the anatomically correct blowup doll. And we talk supervoting, the Free Marijuana Party, and all the political ins and outs with Melbourne Fringe comedy award winner, Mat Kenneally.

SPECIAL GUEST: None.

Welcome back to a new wave of Pinch podcasts. Apologies for the break. Hopefully the new podcasts will be both more regular and easier to digest; you'll notice they're now considerably shorter, which can only be a good thing.

This first episode goes back a few weeks and is thus somewhat preoccupied with strip clubs and sordid things of that nature. Don't worry, we still find time for some terrible gear on the Beijing Olympics.

From The Vaults: Brian Munich & Friends - 'Giant Steps' (2002)

2002. A dark, brutal period when the charred corpse of Unexplained Phenomena blurred nauseatingly with the hastily christened The Pinch. The deeply unpopular name change did not move us straight out of midnight, and for a few forgettable months we struggled with shame, guilt and self-loathing. One of the few bright points was coaxing our comic heroes and oft-mentors, Brian Munich & Friends, into the studio. I've found a tape of two of the parody songs performed that night; first up: Giant Steps.

RadioLive Are Go!

At last! The first instalment of podcasts from RadioLive... Again! are about to go up. For the uninitiated, this was a live, drunken outside broadcast of The Pinch performed on April 16, 2007 in the Victorian Trades Hall Bar. Clocking in at two hours, the show consisted of a dangerous cavalcade of local and international comics chatting with us or playing songs for a live audience, all transmitted to an unsuspecting public via Triple R.

Stuff from the second hour will go up soon (yeah right). In the meantime, enjoy!

The Pinch has finally hit teh intarweb!!!!1!!1

Podcasting of the full show is currently the subject of negotiation with RRR.
For now, I'll focus on putting up as many current interviews as possible.

Content from our vast, vast, vast backlog of audio will be added in a piecemeal fashion as time goes on. Vast. To get you started, I've uploaded the fancy interview we did last year with Mark Kirkland, the man who holds the distinction of having directed more episodes of The Simpsons than anyone else.

You can also find a MySpace page with a few photos at
www.myspace.com/pinchcity

Thanks for coming by.
